Nowadays, two modern country collaborate to send new satellite into Orbit to examine the cause and effect of global warming through universe. These two modern country who works together are Japan and America Space Agency (Jaxa and NASA). This new satellite project has been launch into orbit which measure Earth’s carbon dioxide and methane levels. Its IBUKI, a Japanese Greenhouse Gas-Monitoring Satellite which has job to circling the Earth every 100 minutes to collect data from 56,000 points around the world from the 667km above the earth surface. This satellite use a spectrometer in detecting the carbon dioxide and methane levels through the sun besides that it also able to detect the changes down to one part per million. Ibuki has equipped with a detector which can read clouds and aerosols for radiation levels
Based on the information, besides Ibuki Gas-Monitoring Satellite, American Satellite called Orbiting Carbon Observatory will also monitoring the global warming cause via its three spectrometers to measure carbon dioxide and oxygen levels, and report back with concentration maps every 16 days. The OCO needs 99 minutes to circle the Earth from an altitude of 724km. We hope with this two Gas-monitoring satellite, we can find way out to reduce the CO2 and the effect of the CO2 if the amount is over. But there still comments eventhough this satellite could count and measures the CO2 level it still far from the accurate real data on the ground. At least we still can try how to make our living become more green and healthy.
