I worked closely with Timex to develop the WS4 and was able to test the watch in the field. While the WS4 does not have GPS, the watch does include an altimeter, barometer, thermometer and compass that are expertly captured in a boldly stylish widescreen dash for convenient readings at a glance. It also serves as a versatile timepiece, chronograph, alarm and timer.

Last fall on an expedition to the Garwhal Range of the Himalaya, I had the opportunity to test the WS4 in some pretty real conditions. Weeklong storms, overhanging rock and a lack of food were just a few of the challenges we faced. Yet backing us up on this journey was the durable and accurate WS4.

i like the design and options, but it should have gps for running purposes. (measure distance, pace etc.)
