Its called the Meguru, an electric car which has designed nearly like a ricksaw-a Japanese pedicab. The Meguru electric car is made or constructed from bamboo that wrapped by Japanese paper (fan-shaped washi) for the door and windows. So, Meguru is totally design as an eco-friendly vehicle. The price for a unit Meguru electric car is about $10,000. Even though it has a pedicab body, but it able to run up to 40km for two hours with single charging the battery. Today, this electric ricksaw-car has registered as Japanese road vehicle ad it is legal to drive it on the public road.
