Volkswagen e-up!

During IAA 2009 motor show which held in Frankfurt, Germany, Volkswagen officially show off e-up! the electric car as the world premiere. Volkswagen e-up! powered by electric motor which boast 60kW power output with 40kW continuous power, so it could run as fast as 135km/h of speed. It provide maximum torque at 210 Newton-meters from the 0 and sprint from 0 to 50km/h in city driving could be reach in 3.5 second.

Volkswagen e-up! is lightweight car which only have 240kg of weight along with 1.4 square meters of solar cells that covering the car that can be expand into 1.7 square meters. It complete with 18 kilowatt-hours (kWh) lithium-ion battery that make it able to run maximum to 130 kilometers. Well, the solar panel will help to supply energy for this electric car.
