Clearwire collaboration with Sprint Nextel state that preparing to combine their next-generation wireless internet business. Based on the agreement, Sprint hand over the 2.5GHz spectrum and WiMAX assets including XOHM to Clearwire. Then, Clearwire received $3.2 billion cash investment from Comsat, Intel, Time Warner Cable, Google and Bright House Networks. Though, the business is the collaboration of many company, the name of the company still Clearwire.
