Japan Post just announced that will starting to use electrical vehicles (EVs) for the post services and other business activities and will beginning in the early of this month. They plan to convert over 20,000 cars to become electrics vehicles on 2016. Just like what you see above, that’s Mitsubishi mini car i MiEV, the car which will be use by Japan Post office in Ginza, central Tokyo for about 2 months starting from December 3rd. It will be use aimed for client visits only.
Meanwhile, for the Yokohama port office, the company preparing Fuji Heavy Industries Subaru Plug-in Stella Concept. It aimed for collection and delivery services and will be starting from December 2. Based on the last fiscal year, Japan Post spend for about 70,000 liters of gasoline and costing more than $105 million. I think the electric vehicles more efficient and not need a lot of money to spend.
