Londge MD706 Android Tablet Previews

The Londge has announced one of its upcoming tablet, operated on the Android operating system, called the MD706. It is equipped with a 7.0 inches multi touch display, and powered by the 1 GHz ARM Cortex – A8 processor. Its memory is 512 MB DDR3 RAM with spacious 8GB for storage and a microSD card slot for extra storage files. Besides that, for those who use the camera on the tablet, it has a front-facing camera, a support for Flash 10.3 and a 4000 mAH battery. All of these are complemented with better connectivity of Wifi and 3G module support. It will run on Android 2.3 operating system, and so far the price and the release date of the MD706 Android tablet are still not announced yet.

Europeans counterparts have already known how much and when Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus will cost them, but there was silence in the US until today when an insider revealed that the handheld will be sold for $289.99. The information was conveyed to Android Central in the form of a screenshot from Costco’s inventory. This confirms with the past traditions that Verizon usually set the opening price of $299 for most of its phones. However, no official information has been released yet by Google or Verizon. It is expected that there will be more reliable information about the pricing and exact release date of Galaxy Nexus in the US in the coming weeks, but at least there is now a rough estimation on how much one has to spend to get his or her hands on this gadget.
